Is their a patch or something that I can download to correct this?

It looks as if you uninstalled a program that removed a
shared DLL file.

If you removed a program, try reinstalling it, and then
remove it, but this time when it asks if you want to
remove DLLs that could be shared, elect not to do it.

No it isn't. The probability is that it was some parasite, and your AV
or antispyware has removed the file, but not the entry to run it at
start.

Start - Run, run MSConfig.exe and look on the Startup page, in the
Command column, probably something like
rundll32.exe shw32.dll

Uncheck the line. Exit - do not bother to reboot, but next time you do
there will be a message about 'System Configuration'. Check the 'Do not
show again' box and exit
