Error : Session3_initialization_failed

I'm getting this error description when installing Win XP
on a Compaq Deskpro, I'll boot from the CD, windows
install will load all the drivers and will crash
when "starting windows" before asking any input from the
user. the description reads

"Session3_initialization_failed"
