Error : "Service Pack 1Setup Canceled."

Hi,

I am having the problem of not being able to install Win
XP service Pack. I have just re-installed(re-cloned) my
notebook win Windows XP. Then I tried to update the
service pack when I encountered this error.

I looked into the microsoft and found the following
article Q329261 describing the problem with XP-AntiSpy
program.

I followed the instructions registering the both dll but
still have the same problem.

Does anyone know how to resolve this?? This is frustrating!

That's strange.If the XP CD is a legal one then there won't
be trouble.
Are you facing the problem during downloading Service pack
or running it from CD?
Have you viewed XP SP1 installation log ?Open
%systemroot%\svcpack.log in Notepad.
and get confirm.
