After installing a Linksys wireless router and PCMCIA
adapter, I began receiving the following error prompt
upon startup:

"PXE-E05 LAN adapter configuration is corrupted or has
not been initialized. Boot agent cannot continue."

Startup does continue, and the I am able to connect
wirelessly with no problem. It's the error prompt I
cannot reconcile, or remedy. Any ideas? Thanks!

You can find, for the most part, what the error message
is and how to fix it if you type the error name into
Google
Seems to be a checksum error. Have you tried removing
the router, adapter, and it drivers/software and
reinstalling it, making sure only the necessary programs
running in the background are turned off?

Check your bios. It sounds like it's trying to boot from the network.

Upon further investigation, and as you pointed out, it is
a BIOS-related issue. Thank you!
