I have 2 issues that have come up since a MS third party
product support technician asked me to do a detect and
repair on my Outlook 2003 application, which when it
started became a full Office 2003 d&r. Then he abandoned
me to sort out the mess, even though his product is still
filled with bugs
1. One issue is that my Outlook data was only partially
restored after the d&r procedure. The Business Contact
manager restored data, but all of my mail and contacts
are gone, it is if I have a fresh install of Outlook. I
can locate the 330MB pst file but when selecting File--
2. Second issue is that when the Outlook app now opens
I'm presented with the following error message:
"The procedure entry point GetIUMS could not be located
in the dynamic link library MSDART.DLL"
When I click "OK" six times the message disappears and
Outlook then opens. I could not find information on the
message in the MS KB when I searched with that exact
message text, nor if I just use the procedure name or DLL
name
Can anyone please give me advice on how to restore my
Outlook mail data? !! and also if the message I'm
receiving can be remedied.
Many thanks.
