Error on Windows start up

When I start up windows I get an error message. It reads Windows cannot find
C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\vxd32v.exe
I notice that some programs run slow. Any suggestions of how I can delete
the message
 
Apparently, you have a virus file in your PC. Do you not have a
good antivirus program installed?
