error on floppy disk

i am tryig to copy files from a floppy disk when i scan it it said it had a
error on it. i can ocasionally copy a bit of it but then the not responding
window comes on. is there anything i can do? i would desperately like these
files back. thanks once again for everyones help. tiv

You may need to use a recovery rogram like BadCopy. Floppies do
deteriorate. Recover the files from that diskette and dispose of it so you
don't accidentally use it again.

Scandisk may not help you in a way you wish it to.
