Error! Objects cannot be created from editing field codes.

I have a Word document in which I have cut and pasted PowerPoint slides. On
some of the slides I get the error above when I try to print my document. I
re-cut and paste and the error goes away for the current slide and appears
for another slide. My workaround has been to save the slide as a picture -
which seems to be okay. Any idea why this is happening?
