I have been getting this error
The connection to the server has failed. Account: 'pop.midco.net', Server:
'pop.midco.net', Protocol: POP3, Port: 995, Secure(SSL): Yes, Socket Error:
10060, Error Number: 0x800CCC0E

i have tried going into tools/poperties/advance process, but its still nto
working...
i can send emails I am only recieving a few emails..it will say its
downloading 1 of 65 emals but then only 3 emails pop up and i get this
error....it started 4 days ago, before that it was fine.
can anyone help?
 
Are you sure Midco supports port 995/SSL? Their email setup instructions
don't reflect that:

Unless they advised you differently, try port 110 without SSL.

It is also possible that the 3rd or 4th email on the server is corrupt, and
is causing a bottleneck. To fix that possibility, login via webmail
http://www.midcocomm.com/ResidentialServices/MidcoNetBroadband/MidcoNetSupport/UsingWebmail/
and delete whatever messages you don't want, especially the older ones.
