In Outlook 2000 SP-3 (9.0.0.6627) [Windows XP with all
updates and service packs through 7/25/2004], at least
once a day I get the error message: "An unknown error has
occurred. Please save any existing work and restart the
program. (Account: 'postoffice.swbell.net', POP3
Server: 'postoffice.swbell.net', Error Number:
0x800ccc03)".
I close Outlook, re-start it after 1 minute, or 30
minutes, or 4 hours, and get the same error message. The
only way to get rid of the error is to reboot this
computer, which solves the problem for the next 8 to 12
hours. I would appreciate any help in eliminating this
problem.
