I have Outlook 2000 and I get the above message on an email I really need to
open. All I get is a box with a small box and red "x" in the upper left hand
corner. I have looked and changed scrpit settings on Outlook and my browser
(Firefox) and McAfee. Can anyone help? Will I need the sender to resend again
and in what kind of format? Can I change settings and still read the mail?
Again here is the msg:

"This HTML message contains script, which Outlook cannot display. This may
effect how the message appears."

thanks for any help,
airdebster

So exactly why do you need the script behind the HTML message to run? Are
you aware that some virus/worm e-mails use this to exploit your machine?

Neo, thanks for a response however it is not the one I was looking for. If
you must know what I need to view it is a plat of property my realestate
agent sent me. Matter fact they are 3 plats. Now that I have answered your
question how about someone answer mine. Didn't think I was asking alot. Thanks

Tools > Options > Security tab. Change drop down from Restricted Zone to
Internet. Hopefully that is enough to get the message to show correctly.
When done, change the setting back.
