Error messages

I was trying to install a program on windows XP, and a
message popped up. It read:

Setup: ius_s32.exe-Bad Image

The application of C:\WINDOWS\System32\mscomm32.dll is not
a valid windows image. Please check this against your
installation diskette.

What does this mean? How do I fix this problem?

Have you tried the support line or e-mail for the program being installed.
HELP files and FAQs on the supplier's WEBsite can also give a clue.
