When I click on Microsoft Word or Microsoft Works, I get
the following error messages:
1.Microsoft Word 2002: "Error 1706. Setup cannot find the
required files. Check your connection to the newwork, or
CD-ROM drives.
2. The feature you are trying to use is on a CD-ROM or
other removable disk that is not available. Insert the
Microsoft Word 2002 disk and check OK. I do not have a CD-
ROM disk for Word 2002 nor have I ever had one!
3. The path 'Microsoft Works Suite 2003 disc 1degree
cannot be found. Verify that you have access to this
location and try again, or try to find the installation
package WORD.MSI' in a folder from which you can install
the product Microsoft Word 2002.
NOTE: This problem started for the first this
evening...never before! I am totally confused, frustrated
and worn out trying to find a fix for this problem. I
NEED PROFESSIONAL HELP!!! SOMEONE PLEASE COME TO MY
RESCUE. I WILL BE ETERNALLY GRATEFUL!
