Error message

This Windows update (and others - although not all of
them which show on my "Add/Remove Programs) fail time and
time over... This is a message i got from a file created
in my Windows\Temp directory:
Q817606 Setup encountered an error: Setup could not
verify the integrity of the file Update.inf. Make sure
the Cryptographic service is running on this computer.
***

Update.inf. Make sure the Cryptographic service is
running on this computer.

Anybody knows how to fix the Cryptographic service ?

Click START|ALL|ADMINISTRATIVE|SERVICES
Select the Cryptographic Services item and double-click it

Click the arrow to the right of the box and set it to AUTOMATIC
