I keep getting an error message that reads: Internet
Explorer has encountered a problem and needs to close. We
are sorry for thge inconvience." Then IE closes my
browser, and I have to restart it. Sometimes IE will do
this 5-6 times before I can log on to a web site. I've
read every thing I could dig up on the Microsoft site but
have not found this message. Even tried to get a MS phone
# but their site keeps referring me to the Manufacturer
of my computer.
Any one got any ideas.
 
Try this: Tools > Internet Options > Advanced > Browsing
Uncheck the Enable 3rd party browser extensions

If this clears your problem then find out who the culprit(s) is/are with
these tools.

p.s Reset the 3rd party browser setting.
