error message

Hi There,

This error message appears when I try to install software onto my computer.

C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEMS32\AUTOEXEC.NT.The system file is not suitabe for running
MS-DOS and microsoft Windows applications. Choose 'close' to terminate the
application.

How do I solve this problem???

The first resolution did not work. I tried second resolution ,got to step
14clicked copy I then could`nt find the system root folder to paste. I right
clicked auto exec but there was no past instruction there. What do I do now.

The directory Windows is in, normally C:\
