Hi, All,

I have found an error (the message being "Could not find a driver for
Hardware Device: STORAGE \ Volume (STORAGE\Volume)") when import devices.pmq.
Have you any suggestion for me to solve this problem ?
Thanks a lot.

Hi Agnus,
thats not an error, its a warning. Have a look, if the IDE-Controller has
been recognized, if so->everything is fine. Run a dependancy check and see
result, probably you need to add some file-system support, thats all (FAT,
NTFS, CDFS).

Best regards,
Sören

And the warning do not indicate the need to dig into component designer just
yet.
Have a look, if the IDE chip controller was found. If yes, you can also see,
that there was not found a specific drive! yet there is a generic disk
driver installed in the configuration: "Volume". These message says nothing!
Try to do the dependency check and see whats missing in your configuration,
probably file system support FAT, CDFS or NFTS.

You can ignore that warning, there is no real driver that owns it and
it's not a real device and is an anomaly of Windows that populates it
to the enum key in the registry so TAP picks it up. Search the Google
archives of this newsgroup in the future and you'll find a lot of basic
questions like this answered for you already.
