Sudden loss of display quality. Can't go above 4 bit or
800 x 600. Error message "Error Loading
c:\windows\system32\NvCpl.dll -- initialization failed"
Do I have to reinstall XP?

Mike

NvCpl.dll is from the installed NVidia video card. It sounds like you need
to reinstall the video card driver, not the operating system. Check first
for any updated drivers that may be available.
