dear microsoft help,

i have gator, i tried to unistall precision time, and
date manager, which i found out was gator, and i get this
message.

Wise install
Could not open INSTALL.log file.

how do i uninstall gator if the remove programs won't let
me.

Hi, Star. This isn't Microsoft Help. This is a peer-to-peer newsgroup.
However, to get rid of Gator and other malware, do this:

Remove spyware with Spybot Search & Destroy from
www.safer-networking.org and Ad-aware from www.lavasoftusa.com. Be sure
to update these programs before running them. These programs are free,
so run them both since they complement each other. It is best to run
antivirus and spyware removal tools in Safe Mode. You may also need to
run CWShredder from http://www.spywareinfo.com/~merijn/index.html .
Please read the instructions carefully. Also, make sure you've visited
Windows Update and applied all security patches. Make sure you are
running a firewall and a current (post-2002 version) antivirus with
updated definitions.
