Each time I log on I get a dialog box that reads:
Error loading C:\WINDOWS\image.dll
The specified module could not be found.
Could someone please tell me what this means and what I
can do about it.
Thank You,

Hello, Jack. Either you've cleaned up your computer of spyware and
there's a reference left to one of the bad programs in Startup *OR* you
haven't cleaned up your computer and you have spyware. To clean up the
Startup, go to Start>Run and type "msconfig" without the quotes. Look
on the Startup tab and uncheck the box next to the culprit's name. To
remove spyware, use Spybot Search & Destroy from
www.safer-networking.org and Ad-aware from
www.lavasoftusa.com. Be sure
to update these programs before running them. These programs are free,
so run them both since they complement each other. It is best to run
antivirus and spyware removal tools in Safe Mode. And of course you
should practise safe computing by having a current antivirus installed
(post-2002 version using updated definitions).
