I am getting this message and don't know the meaning.
The host 'POP3' could not be found. Please verify that you have entered the
server name correctly.
Account: pop3, server pop3, protocol: pop3, port: 110, secure(ssl): No,
socket error: 11001, error number: 0x800ccc0d. This occurs when trying to
retrieve mail.

It means you entered an incorrect name for the incoming (POP3)
mail server. You get the correct names from your ISP. If that is

I'm getting the same Error Message, started Windows Email down load for my
Cox Email. Hide the Error Message & can bring up all my emails. Error Message
comes up after logging on to Windows Email. Have you gotten an answer how to
delete this Error Message.

Error messages can be "deleted" only by correcting the cause.
Right-click on the error message, copy, then paste the complete
error message into a reply here. We need to see all the diagnostic
information in the error message in order to figure out what is wrong.
