I got a laptop and installed my wireless router. Ever since that when I
click on my outlook express on my desktop computer or windows mail on my
laptop I get the error message that host POP3 could not be found. According
to my ISP my system is running fine. They suggested it might be an internal
firewall on the router that needs to be dis-engaged but I can't find out how
to do that. The instruction manual with the router was missing.
Can someone please help. This is driving me crazy.

POP3 is not a valid server name. Ask your email provider (who is probably
also your internet provider) for their instructions to set up to use their
email
servers. If they haven't written instructions for Windows Mail yet, use
their instructions for Outlook Express under Windows Mail. The instructions
are probably somewhere on their web site. Or, you could tell us who your
email provider is and see if anyone here already knows where to find the
instructions.
