error message

Everytime I get on my computer this message crops
up : "Internet Exployer has encountered a problem and
needs to close. If you were in the middle of something
you may lose this data, etc. Please tell Microsoft about
this problem. " Of course, when you click on it which you
must do, you lose your connection and have to start over
only to have it happen again. I am a novice internet
user and do not know how to correct this. Is there
someone who knows what I'm talking about who can maybe
help a dummy?

this works for me (i do not guarantee it)
shutdown and restart. this speeds up access also.
