Hi Paola,

Right Click on your IE Icon on your Desktop and Select Properties from the
Sub-Menu, then on the IE Properties Clear your Caches and Delete Offline
files and Cookies.
Click on the Programs Tab and Navigate to Manage Add-Ons and in the Manage
Add-Ons Properties Disable all Non-MS IE Add-Ons and Click OK you can Enable
them later if you wish one -by-one.
On the same Window Click on the Reset Web Settings and Click OK.
Before Rebooting try to Scan for Malware from here:
http://www.avast.com/ for the Free Removal tool
Hope this helps
Please Post your Findings back here.

Thank you Nass for your response, but I don't have any option to delete
offline files or cookies. I made a right click in the IE icon on my desktop,
but it just have on the tabs: General, Shorcuts, and Compatibility. In the
Shourcut tab, I just have the target file, start in, which by the way is
weird (%HOMEDRIVE%%HOMEPATH%). Shourtcut key: None. Run Normal window, etc....
Should I unistall Explorer and install it again?
Thank you again for your help

Thanks Nass.... didn't work.. I think I might have to reinstall the whole
thing WXP. Thank you though!

Hi Paola,
You don't need to uninstall the whole Platform to Repair IE.
Try to Repair the Internet Explorer by uninstall and reinstall from the
Add/Remove in the Control Panel.
Go to the Control Panel, check show all Updates and on the Internet Explorer
and Tools click on change/Remove option and in there you will see Remove |
Repair |Cancel, select repair then Reboot and see if it solved if not try
Uninstall and reinstall.
Hope this helps
