Error Message

i have received this error message from windows defender - 0x80004003:
invalid pointer.
now my software wont run. any help please?

Type your error code 0x80004003 into the Search box and choose either
the Announcements group, the General Discussion group or any group.

What action brings up that message?

If it is pressing the Scan now button, because a scan has not been run for
some days--try going to the menu and choosing scan.

Since this a free install, uninstall and reinstall from the Microsoft website, if problem continues then contact Tech @microsoft. Good Luck
