While I'm online, I keep getting various windows(lots) APP_BK_078 sayin "Connection timed out (Error #10060). Can anyone tell as to what this is and how to get rid of it ? It's is really annoying because more than 20 of these windows pop up for no reason.

This is likely cause by a trojan or virus, try scanning the machine. Also
look in Add/Remove Programs for mIRC, disable any suspicious looking
services.
