I AM GETTING AN ERROR MESSAGE AT START UP AND UNABLE TO INSTALL PROGRAMS. THE
MESSAGE IS
ERROR LOADING C:/WINDOWS/SYSTEM 32/STLBDIST.DLL
THE SPECIFIED MODULE COULD NOT BE FOUND
HOW CAN I FIX THIS????????

Appears this .dll is a BHO for IE. I would suggest the following:

at "run" command type: regsvr32 /u stlbdist.dll

You should then be able to delete the stlbdist.dll and xml file from the
system32 folder. Let us know if this fixed your problem. Reboot before
attempting to install any new programs.

THIS DID NOT WORK ANOTHER ERROR MESSAGE APPEARED AND SAYS LOAD
LIBRARY("STLBDISTDLL") FAILED THE SPECIFIED MODULE COULD NOT BE FOUND. ANY
OTHER ANSWERS?

Ok...try booting into safe mode and then deleting those two files. You
should be able to...if not, let me know.
