I was trying to install drivers for a serial to USB connecting cable for my
Dell Dimension 4600C when I received the following error message:

I was hoping that someone would be able to tell me if this is a serious
problem and it there is anything that I should be doing to correct future
problems. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

This error message is generated when an application requests to read or
write data to an invalid memory address. To my knowledge there are 3 known
causes for this problem.

1) Faulty Drivers
2) Known Windows Problem
3) Faulty RAM

1) Visit the manufacturers web site and make sure you have the latest
version of the driver set.

2) Update to Service Pack 2 for XP
