Error message when trying to install Word 2002

I already have XP Home Edition, but I want to install
Word 2002 and Power Point also. I'm getting an Error that
states the operating system is not configured to run to
this application. The operating system was configured to
run Corel office, which I uninstalled. Need help!
 
Before we go any further with this, are the Word 2002 and PowerPoint disks
for a PC or for a Mac? If you have Mac editions, they won't install on a PC
and the error you are receiving is indicative of that kind of issue.
