When going through normal shutdown process on Windows XP,
after clicking the shutdown button, an error message pops
up in a box. The box is labeled "CorUpd.exe Application
Error". Message in box is "the instruction
at "0x77e7a67a" referenced memory at "0x0042d5ec". This
memory could not be written."
Message stays on the screen about 10 seconds, goes away,
and the computer goes through normal shutdown.
Is this a problem? If you have a fix, please explain
in "Windows for Dummies" language.
Thanks
