Hi,

Can anyone tell me why when I scroll up from my start button at the bottom
left to my Windows Mailbox and open it to get my messages it will not
connect (cannot get email messages) and I get an "Error" message box that
pops up and says:

"Some errors occurred while processing the required tasks. Please review
list of errors below for more details"

....and the two errors that come up in the same box say:

"The host HTTP could not be found. Please verify you've entered the server
name correctly."
....and the other error says:

"The host POP3 could not be found. Please verify thata you've entered the
server name correctly."

Can someone please help me get my email messages again? I was getting them
for awhile and am not sure what happened. I'm so not a computer person and
don't have a clue how to fix this. I'm not even sure it will send emails
out either...probably not since I immediately get those two errors.

Thanks much!

Neither "HTTP" nor "POP3" are valid mail server names.
In Windows Mail go to Tools, Accounts, select the account,
Properties, Servers, and make corrections to the server names.
If you don't know what the mail server names should be,
check your ISP's help pages. Assuming your ISP is Verizon:
http://netservices.verizon.net/portal/link/help/index.jsp?case=c2532
which shows:
incoming (POP3) server: incoming verizon.net
outgoing (SMTP) server: outgoing.verizon.net

It looks like your mail servers are incorrectly setup. Usually they are
mail.ISPNAME.com or similar. You may need to contact your ISP for the
server names.
