Hello. Is there a workaround for the following error message besides
deselecting net folders in the Add-in Manager? This option does keep Outlook
2000 from shutting down, but I require the use of net folders on a network to
share info on my calendar.
How can I save calendar and email data if I choose to uninstall and
reinstall Outlook 2000?
The complete error message is: The instruction at "0x3f999435" referenced
memory at "0x00021000". The memory could not be "read".

This problem seemed to have occured after updating Office 2000.

Disabling the Net Folders add-in seems to be the specific solution to that
problem.
I found Net Folders reasonably functional but their use has been dropped
because of issues. You can try alternate sharing options from:
http://www.slipstick.com/outlook/share.htm

All your data is in PST files. That data should be preserved if you
uninstall Outlook. Locate the files with the PST extension and back them up
just in case.

Thanks for the info and link. I think I will opt for an alt app. The Net
folders app seems to work 'error free' with original install, but beware of
updates!
