Error message: "Program Error, SVCHOST.exe has generated errors....."

Hello, wondering if anyone could help me please. Everytime
i connect to the internet, i seem to get this message
"Program Error, SVCHOST.exe has generated errors and will
be closed by Windows. You will need to restart the
program. An error log is being created"

This problem doesnt allow the internet to work correctly,
ie it doesnt open up links from webpages. Also it effects
Windows explorer in that i cant open up mpeg files, games
etc etc....

I have tried using the help that Microsoft have given in
their Knowledge base article, but this doesnt work either.
Any ideas anyone ???

Sounds like you have the Blaster worm.
