I recently installed Win XP SP 2 and also AVG Anti-Virus (maybe just a
coincidence), but I am, now getting an error message as the desktop appears
which reads: "Error loading c:\windows\xbi.dll The specified module could
not be found"

How can I get rid of this error meassge??

Thanks

Hi

Have a look in msconfig>startup to see if the file is referenced there. If
so, uncheck and reboot your system.

Have you virus checked your system with the latest definitions for your Anti
Virus program?

Also please try these programs to check for any spyware that may be on your
system:

Ad-Aware - www.lavasoftusa.com
Spybot - http://www.safer-networking.org/
CWShredder - http://forum.aumha.org/downloads/cwshredder.zip
Spy Sweeper - www.webroot.com

Try SpyWareBlaster to stop intrusions:
