Hi Everyone,

I download the service pack 1a for the windows XP
professional and set it up. After that, every time I
restart my computer, it always shows an error message
window on the screen with the title "SysExplr.exe
Application Error". In the window, it said "The
application fail to initialize properly (0xc0000005)".
Does anyone how to fix or get around this bug? Thanks

Yongguang

put xp pro back in cd-rom drive and tell it to fix os,
bye that I mean it will clean up and reinstall any
malform files. follow instructions when using your xp
cd, first click on set up then it will ask you what you
want to do , this is after it has loaded all of the files
then the next step will be setup , read sceen and follow
guide lines it will ask you if you want to install, click
yes, then it will ask about repairing setup, not sure of
the exact wording but something like that, by no means
use the dos window DO NOT USE THE DOS WINDOW. After you
have finish then go online to the windowsupdate site
scan system and allow it to download sp1 and any other
upgrade you may need. I hope these instructions will help
you, I tried. forgive me if Im wrong.

If you have problems following what I have so willingly
tried to explain here then repost and I will try and do a
better job Of posting your fix. :) by no mean no email I
will not answer. so sorry
Patricia
