Error message - How do I fix this?

When I try to install new programs I get this message:

Please re-install the module in the directory System32: USER.EXE.

Can someone tell me how to fix this problem. Thanks.

Hi,

Click start/run, type "sfc /scannow" and click ok. Allow the system file
checker to validate and replace missing or damaged files.

If sfc /scannow starts and cannot find files, click on the X to close it and
go to this link:
