are u good fixer?
when I check my XP pro machine's Event-veiwer, there is
error in there and it says:
<<AMLI: ACPI BIOS is attempting to read from an illegal
IO port address (0x71), which lies in the 0x70 - 0x71
protected address range. This could lead to system
instability.>>

now, if any one knows how to deal with it, I would
preciate to let me know ASAP.

Its not really a problem.

One of my system ran for months with it, until the motherboard manufacturer
released an updated bios.

It's just annoying seeing it in the event log every time you boot.

Check your motherboard manufacturers website for the latest bios.
