Whenever my computer starts up it gives me an error message
that it cannot find file "dust.exe". I have looked at
msconfig and nothing with that name seems to be there and
nothing on my computer with that file name. How can i make
it stop looking for this file. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks

I looked around the web to find what Dust.exe is and really couldn't find
anything except for some people on other forums that had the exact same
problem. From what I've read, this looks like it could be a virus or
spyware.

You've already tried MSCONFIG, so I would take a look at the following
location:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows
NT\CurrentVersion\Winlogon\Shell

Make sure that Shell ONLY has explorer.exe in it. Also check Userinit and
make sure that it isn't launching anything other then Userinit.
