When I boot up I get sent to a screen that says PX media failure check cable. What does that mean? How do I fi it

Its trying to boot from a network (the "cable" its refering to check would be an ethernet cable to the NIC). A few reasons why could be: - Somehow "Network" was given priority for the boot sequence in the BIOS. Check the BIOS - Loose cable to the HDD. Open 'er up and reseat the HDD's cables. - HDD has become damaged/corrupted. (Hopefully thats not the problem.) My gut feeling is that its probably just a loose HDD cable. Cheers, E
