When I first turn on my computer, I get the following error...

Contact Network Associates Tech Support Stack Exceeded by 256 Bytes

Does anyone have insight to what this is for and what I need to do?

What OS do you have?
From the
Pages of Google.com when searched by
"Network Associates Tech Support Stack Exceeded by 256 Bytes" (no quotes
used on the search), I got the following:

You need to do a selective start up to make sure there are no other programs
running that might be conflicting with McAfee. You can do this by clicking
on the start button and than run, than type in Msconfig. Click ok and than
click on the tab start up. I need you to uncheck all of these start up items
except for systray or system tray and the McAfee start up items. Then click
ok and restart the computer.

If you have Windows 2000:
Tap on CTRL + ALT + DEL and close as many background applications that you
can except for systray and explorer.

Run ScanDisk
Run Disk Defragmenter
Delete the Contents of the Windows Temp folder

This can be caused by some spyware/adware that's on your computer. Please
get a spyware/adware detector program, and run it and clean up all programs
that it finds. I recommend that you get AdAware or SpyBot.
