error message after error message

My friends are getting error message after error message that ask if you
want to send it to Microsoft. Sometimes we can click on a program and have
it run but mostly we can't get anything to run for very long. We tried going
to a restore point and the problem comes along. Doesn't allow us to right
click on desktop to get properties. Any suggestions? Would it be a good
thing to take it back to the beginning? Rebel

One error: Back web 137903.exe has encountered a problem and needs to close.
Sorry for the inconvenience....., error two: Windows explorer as encountered
a problem and needs to close. Sorry about the...., error three: McAfee has
encountered a problem and needs to close. Sorry for the...., error four:
Instant messenger has encountered a problem and needs to close. Sorry for
the ...., error five: Scan Module has encountered a problem and needs to
close. Sorry for the .... (Nothing is open)

All of those errors happen on boot up. McAfee also brings up a scripting
error that it gives the choice of stopping, running once or allowing. Since
we don't know what a 2$$ temp script is we stop it. (I'm not certain that
the 2$$ is exact but the $$ are.)
