Hi, all!

Just had a crash and received the error 0x000000c5.

Something to do with drivers.

Can someone explain this to me in laymans terms please. I
read about it at microsoft and it was greek to me.

Thanks for any help!

Don't take these error messages too seriously - i.e. sometimes, they do not
describe what went on in the PC but are displayed anyway.
Error 50 seems like a 'generic' explanation :); could be, "Try again" as
well.
If it crashes again, check the event files and see what caused or what
happened right before the crash. Being a start up error, it's a driver that
is not available, corrupted etc.
If it happens right after the installation of a new piece of hard or soft,
try uninstalling that piece.
It also might happen on overcloking, wrong graphics settings and what not.
Try loading XP in Safe Mode and using Run: msconfig disable whatever you
suspect is at fault.
