Does it also happen if you boot into Safe Mode? Keep tapping the F8 key
during reboot to get the menu that will let you boot in safe mode.

That does not appear to be a valid operating system Dynamic Link Library
file, in fact I can find nothing about that file (if there is no typo
involved). So I suspect that the error message started happening after you
ran antivirus or some other anti-compromiser utility? Some of the new stuff
isn't being cleaned up properly, just yet, after being disabled. Over 900
new virus discovered last month alone ... they're coming fast & thick,
sometimes not quite removed properly.

Right-click on My Computer, select Manage, and go look in the Event Viewer
sections for some hints on what is going on and post results back to this
forum. You're looking for red x marks or yellow exclamations, and failure
notices in the Event Viewer.

Hey WinGuy, I checked as you suggested in my computer under computer managment and found a LOT of yellow exclamation points and a few red Xs. Is there a way to delete these specific items? And yes, I have just installed McAfee RedZone Suite and ran thier programs then this started. I had a lot of problems before but now seems to be fine, except for this loading error.

Hello, Hawaii Boy

You can double-click each of the problems listed (especially the red X's) to
get some sort of explanation for the problem, and usually a further
clarifying link to Microsoft itself. Note the "Event ID" number, the Source,
and the Categegory of the error. Google can be a big help in finding
solutions to these reported problems, too. Yes, you can right-click on each
of the 3 Event Viewer entries (Application, Security, System) and choose to
clear all events. Do so, reboot, and take another look. In your case, most
likely you have a problem being shown in Application area due to the DLL you
mention. Note that some errors in the security section associated with a
local user not being able to login at boot is normal (at boot only) and
later entries do show that the same user did login. Other errors are not
normal.

I've something for you to try, but 1st I'd like to know how many different
(not how many are repeated) red x's you have and what they are about. I
doubt that the error message you are getting means that any system files are
involved, at least not the dll one you mentioned, so your computer operating
system is probably unaffected by that particular error. But first I need to
know for sure.

WinGuy, I deleted all contents in those three areas mentioned. I then shut down and restarted and still got the same error. I checked again into the three areas and there were no red Xs or yellow Exclamations left. But I have no problems starting up, logging in or shutting down, so I guess I just have to get used to a ghost living here. Thanks for the tips you gave me, they helped me a lot and I learned something new. If I ever find the reason I will post it here.

WinGuy, I went and deleted all the contents in the three Event viewer sections in My Computer and there are now no Red X's or Yellow Exclamation points left. I did still get that Error Loading again after shutting down and rebooting my system But there seems to be no problems at all logging intoeither IE or AOLand Yahoo. All three srevices work fine and no browser problems at all. I am wondering if that error has anything to do with McAfee Privacy Service that opens on my desktop on start up, that I have to log into before I can access anything on my system. A security measure that came with the McAfee Redzone suite. Thank's for all your advice, it thought me a lot believe it or not. If I ever find the reason I will post it here. But for now it looks as if I will have a resident in my system, be it a harmless one for now.

Ok, then the sdkoa32.dll that I can not find out anything about, but which
suspiciously looks like part of Microsoft SDK that was installed at some
point in time, might have been deleted by your antivirus or other
anti-compromise utility. Can you find the file anywhere on your HDD? When
searching, be sure to have enabled looking for hidden & system files (best
to disable that ability later to prevent accidental problems!) If you can
find it then look at its properties, see if it claims to be from Microsoft.
If so, then search the Microsoft website for that file - they usually have a
full listing of installed files for everything they put on a computer. If
you don't find it then the file is very suspicious as being potentially part
of malware that got deleted and without the Registry being properly cleaned
up.

Are you using XP Pro? If so, you might need to go enable auditing in order
for the error to show up in Even Viewer. Something like Control Panel |
Administrative Tools | Local Security Policy | Local Policy | Audit Policy
(whew!) where you can right-click an entry in the right hand side pane and
choose what kind of auditing should show up for various things in Event
Viewer. For most things there, I usually at least turn on auditing of
failures. I'm doing this from memory, so the procedure might be a bit off,
but that's the general idea. XP-Home won't let you do this (why, I don't
know!)

So see if you can enable all those policies, and then maybe when the error
occurs it will show up somewhere in Event Viewer. Let me know, I've some
other ideas if you just can not get it to identify itself in Even Viewer.
Also, I do really need to know if that file actually exists anymore on your
system. There are some ways you can watch what files are being accessed,
what registry activity is occurring, and what dll's are being used and
depend on other dll's, but this requires getting some utils (nice to have)
and learning how to use them. Eventually, this problem can indeed be
resolved.
Pick up your favorite monitoring utils at:
http://www.sysinternals.com/ntw2k/utilities.shtml
Most of them work just fine with XP.
