I get the following RUNDLL message:

Error Loading
C:\Program Files\MSN\MSNSharedFiles\MAILMAPI.DLL
The specified module could not be found

The folder specified contains only a shortcut for IE
Explorer, nothing else. Where do I find the necessary
files?

Thanks,

Richard

I was attempting to respond to a job posting. When I
click on the "Apply Now" button, I get the message.

The shortcut is for MSN6. Comcast is my default mail
client.

I sounds like I need to install MSN 8 or 9.

Thanks,

Richard

I attempted to re-install IE6, using ie6setup.exe.
Resulting message was that a newer version was detected
and installation could not continue. Info for my IE,
from help, is:

Version 6.0.2800.1106.xpsp2.030422-1633
Prod ID 55276-013-6620876-22360
Update Version SP1; Q837009; Q832894; Q831167

I cannot find any updates that my computer needs. If not
already evident, I'm confused.

Thanks,
Richard

I said reinstall *MSN*6, not IE6. Or upgrade to MSN8 or MSN9. Any of them
will give you the MAILMAIL.DLL you need.

I really hate to drag this out, especially when MS is
supposed to be so user friendly, not like Oracle Designer
and databases that I had no problems with over an eight
year span. But enough of that. Where do I find MSN8 or
MSN9? I did what I thought was installing MSN; now all I
see for my efforts is an additional tool bar of
questionable value when I start IE.

Thank you,

Richard

What are you trying to do when you get the error message?

Is MSN 8 or 9 installed? Is MSN your default Mail Client?
