Hi,

First of all please do not reply unless you know the exact answer OR
have encountered the exact same problem. No point cluttering the reply
with the same spy software sellers trying to sell their software.

I have tried all things: all kinds of Spyware, Adware removal tools:
like AdAware and so on and reinstall of IE.

The error message is: AppVer: 6.02800.1106 ModName: msvcrt.dll ModVer:
7.0.2600.1106 offset: 000339d4.

Finally, it is a shame that Microsoft website itself does not have
removal tips for adware and the browser options itself does not have a
simple do not install adware software button or checkbox.

If any of the Developers of MS see this, please try and include a
simple button that prevents adware install in the options.

I just helped someone with this problem- also involving the MSVCRT.DLL file.
He had a 2 year old program, INTERNET CLEANUP from Aladdin, running in the
background. It was apparently not getting along with IE and the Earthlink
pop-up blocker. We removed a bunch of adware/spyware files, uninstalled
Internet Cleanup and the problem disappeared.

So, try:
Ad-aware ... http://www.lavasoft.de/software/adaware/ (about 1.5 MB)
Update before use.

Spybot S&D ... http://www.safer-networking.org/ (about 3.5 MB)
Update before use- remove items listed in red- others are optional.

CWShredder
http://www.net-integration.net/tools/hijackthis.html (about 125 KB)

Or...
A legitimate program running in the background may be causing this. Disable
(for diagnostic purposes) programs such as pop-up blockers, security,
anti-virus, etc.

It should be used with CAUTION, but HijackThis may find running processes
that you didn't know about. Move HijackThis into it's own folder immediately
after download- don't leave it in TEMP or another folder.
See information on HijackThis at http://mvps.org/winhelp2002/unwanted.htm

See... nothing to sell <G>

Hope this helps,
Don
