Hi there,
I was trying to install Windows XP Professional on a new
Dell Desktop which had XP Home Edition already installed.

During installation, this error message popped up on the
screen and asked if I would still continue upgrading to XP
as it may lead to System Instability either immediately or
in future.

"Intel(R) 82810/DB/DBM USB2 Enhanced Host COntroller -24CD
has not passed Windows logo testing to verify its
compatibility with Windows XP"

It did not seem to have any problems after the
installation was finished.

Tried reinstalling the OS and quit in between. Now during
Boot-up, the option with "MS XP Professional Setup" is
selected by default with the second option being "MS XP
Professional" . Can some one help me how to remove this
and let the system boot normally.

Can any one help me with resolving this?

Thanks,
K.

Thanks for your help ..... I just chose the "Repair OS"
option during istallation. Every thing looks fine as of
now ....

Did U install an OEM version or an upgrade?

Thanks again,
K.
