#error in textbox

I have a textbox in a subform that is bound to a field which is text(255).
#error appears when subform is opened. this is not consistent only randomly
which makes it difficult to pinpoint the cause. Thank you for your response.
What further info would be helpful?
 
Version of Outlook, type of mail account, and what it is you're trying to
accomplish.

microsoft.public.outlook.program_forms seems a better newsgroup for this
