#Error in memo field

I keep having strange occurrances of a #Error in a Memo Field in two forms
I've created. It just appears out of no where, seemingly, and when I try to
erase the #Error out of the field, Access tells me that 'another user' has
the file open as well. I'm not on a network, the database is only on my
computer!! When I try to even look at the record in its corresponding table,
it gives me that same error message, asking me if I want to save the record
(I say yes, nothing happens), and won't even let me close the table. I've had
to delete several entire records because of this.

Any ideas?

I have a white paper in a Word document named Fix Corrupt Access Database
towards the bottom this page:

In my paper there's a method to extract most of the data from the table with
the errors.
