error DNS

I have a Win98SE with IE 6.0 browser (6.0.2800.1106). I
try surf the web, and I recive "error DNS".

I'm connected with DSL and dial up.
Connection was fine (I can make a ping) but the browser
(and any other internet apps) don't work.

I've been working on this problem all day, and any help
would be appreciated!.

Sorry for my BAD english (I can do best in spanish).

If its all internet apps, then it not IE that is causing
the problem. Check your windows settings or the dialup for
you dsl.

Do you have more than one computer hooked up to your
DSLl? Mine worked fine when I had only one computer
hooked up, but after putting another computer on using a
hub/router, we could not get thru. I believe the DSL
company is blocking it.
