Error Code 80246005

Using Windows Update I get an install failure error code
80246005 when trying to download SP2. Never had a
problem with Windows Update before. Any help with fixing
this?

clean WU5's temporary download
folder to get rid of the previous SP2 temporary installation files -

%windir%\SoftwareDistribution\Download\

if that doesn't help:-

download and install the full SP2:-
